Life Is a Dance
And you must decide
If you need to hear the music to join in
Or dance to your own beat.
Just dance, my dear!
Keeping in mind that each defeat and stumble
Is part of your dance, part of your growth
Step on toes and adjust as you go.
It will hurt, it will take time and willpower
Stop waiting to learn every single step
Stop trying to copy how others dance
I’m here to remind you that practice makes “imperfect”
And I love all the imperfections that come from each attempt.

Do it scared, but do it
Turn up the volume
Let go of your insecurities and
Recall that the parts that feel hard today
One day will be remembered as your warm-up.
